Networking with Confidence

Research indicates that effective networking can have a huge impact on your career; technical proficiency in isolation is no longer enough to ensure success. In addition to being fast tracked for promotions, networking is key to building relationships both internally and externally. Women in particular, can benefit from learning specific tips for navigating their careers in an industry currently underrepresented by females.

This workshop will introduce you to the techniques for building rapport and creating positive first impressions at work, including:

• Understanding the neuroscience of networking and leveraging this knowledge
• Tips for preparing yourself for a successful networking event
• Making a positive first impression –including communication and rapport building techniques
• Closing the loop –actions to take following a networking event to nurture key relationships
