Denise Morcombe is a woman who knows about RESILIENCE, INNER STRENGTH and ENDURANCE.
Her beautiful son, Daniel was abducted and murdered on the 7th December 2003. She waited 13 years to have the killer convicted and locked away.
During this time, Denise went through one of the greatest pains a mother could experience. Not only the loss of a child but also not knowing if he was hurt, enduring unimaginable things or whether he was calling for her.
Through her grief and pain, Denise showed incredible courage and resilience and, with her husband, founded the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Through the foundation they run programs to keep children safe.
