We have a regular event at Cannon Hill as a coffee catch up once a month but this event is designed to combine networking with education, team building activities, collaboration and workshops. With this event we pair people in smaller groups to discuss topics we then look at expand on those topics with our speakers and presenters who look at sharing their soft skill tips and hacks to help what they do.
This event is all about sharing and to make it interesting we share our achievements at the end and appreciate the work that we provide and offer to the greater community.
The format is as follows
6.30pm - Seat at your table
6.35pm - introduction from MC
6.40pm - Networking and Introduction in group - tell us your achievement for the week, what you services you offer, what services you require and who do you want to be connected with. The importance on your role in the community and business.
6.50pm - Discuss Business Problem or Scenario assigned to group. The group would be given an everyday scenario.
For example if someone is looking to start up a business how could and would you help them or referrer them to someone who can, why would you refer them and what do you understand about what they do.
Someone is looking to buy a property where could you fit in that process or who could you recommend and why.
Someone is looking you attract more business and grow their revenue? What can you do to help?
7.10pm - Soft Skills Presentation - TBA looking for speakers to present on topics like How to Network, Building Referral Systems and Processes, Being Consistent and Visible. What are the best questions to ask at a meeting. How to build a business culture. Creating the right mindset for success. Offer scenarios.
7.30pm - Second Speaker - focuses on strategy and business planning - can relate to social media, marketing, networking, need speakers.
7.50 pm - Question and Answers. Feedback
