We currently provide coverage for the North Metropolitan, South Metropolitan and Bunbury areas.
When are the events scheduled? Events are scheduled to occur predominately during school holiday periods. This allows more of our members to be able to attend.
What do the proceeds of my membership go towards? All proceeds are directed to the creation of further events and opportunities for Network Teach Inc members.
What if I don't take advantage of the membership, am I eligible for a refund? Given the extremely low price of membership, refunds are not offered. It is up to the individual members to ensure that they take advantage of all opportunities offered. Most events are scheduled to occur during holiday periods to make it easier for people to attend.
Do I pay a membership fee if I volunteer to help at Network Teach events? Yes. However this is refunded once a defined number of hours have been volunteered.
Why is there a membership fee? Much alike other associations, Network Teach relies on the income generated from membership fees and sponsorships to grow its array of opportunites and events for members. The fee charged by Network Teach is nominal (one of the lowest in Australia). Given the higher rates charged to non members, members find after attending one event, that they have already saved more than the purchase price of that event.
Who owns Network Teach? Network Teach is fully owed by its members. We operate as a not for profit incorporated entity, independent of a university or corporate organisation. All funds generated are reinvested into the growth and development of the organisation for the benefit of our members.
