Join us for our 2019 Excellence in Education Conference!

Following the resounding success of our Conferences in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Network Teach is proud to host our 7th annual Excellence in Education Conference.

This event celebrates the achievements of the WA's outstanding educators and showcases some of the states leading educational programs used to promote and sustain high quality classrooms and teaching within Western Australia.

This event is recommended for all teachers, preservice/trainee teachers, education assistants and school leaders!

Our all star line up of presenters include:

  • Leith Tarling: Behaviour and Engagement

  • Dr Deborah Callcott: Moving on With Literacy

  • Natalie Dowd: STEM - An integrated approach.

  • Jessica Demunck: Mindfulness for effective teachers and school leaders.

  • Kirsty Campbell Court: WA Beginning Teacher of the Year 2015 - Differentiation and gifted education.

  • Ryan Gadsden: Living in disadvantage; Supporting your students in the classroom.

How much are tickets? Our ticket prices are heavily discounted for an event of this calibre as we are a not for profit organisation.

Just $49 for Network Teach Members & $100 for Non Members ! Making our event the best value in Australia with presentations of this calibre normally selling for a minimum of $150-$200 each.

Why are tickets to this event so cheap?

This event is not designed to make a profit. As a not for profit organisation, we simply seek to provide high quality access to education based Professional learning opportunities.

We have also heavily subsidised this event in thanks to our sponsors who contribute to the overall event costs.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We strongly recommend catching public transport to this event with a nearby train station (Murdoch station) and bus interchange which is a short distance from the university site. Alternatively, car pooling is a highly recommended option.


Buses: 206, 207, 850, 851, 98 and 99 service the rear of the university using the Discovery Way access road, departing from Murdoch Train Station. The bus stops on this route are closest to the event location.

Buses: 503, 504 and 513 stop and service the front of the university accessed via South Street and also depart from Murdoch Train Station (not recommended as not close to the venue).


Parking is available on all sides of the university campus with main parking accessed to the rear of the University via Discovery Way. Car parks 7 is closest to the event location with free parking available on the event date in all red parking zones (no parking permit required).

What should I bring to the event?

We strongly recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and bring your wallet/purse. ATM's and access to Wifi is also available to use on site.

Is the venue friendly to those in a wheelchair?

The grounds of Murdoch are unfortunately very hilly so please contact prior to purchase us if you require access so we can make arrangements for you.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A printed ticket is NOT REQUIRED for this event as we will simply check you in upon arrival.

What is the refund policy?

Due to the heavily discounted cost of this event, REFUNDS ARE NOT PROVIDED FOR THIS EVENT. We do however offer you the opportunity to on-sell your ticket. We simply need the details of the new ticket holder (full name and email address). THERE IS NO NEED TO CONTACT US IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND ON THE DAY!
