TOPIC: Neuroleadership: The Neuroscience of improving personal and leadership effectiveness

Kristen Hansen

Ever wondered why we “can’t think straight” when we are stressed. Drawn from the world’s first Masters in the Neuroscience of Leadership, Kristen Hansen will shed light on ways to increase personal and leadership performance by understanding more about the brain. This presentation will provide you with a greater understanding of how to maximise your creative and cognitive capacity and renew your mental capabilities throughout the day.

Kristen Hansen is the Director of EnHansen Performance, providing leadership and executive coaching, neuro-coaching and training. She has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in the Neuroscience of Leadership with Middlesex University and is a lead trainer, mentor and coach for the NeuroLeadership Group

Kristen has worked with executives at the Commonwealth Bank, ANZ Bank, Linde Group, Hyundai, NSW Ambulance, The Garvan Institute, Harvey Norman and News Limited as well as independent business owners and SME’s in a range of brain-based coaching and training initiatives. Kristen has 20 years’ experience in Management positions in Australian companies such as News Limited, Fairfax Publications and Pacific Dunlop. She is an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation, has her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, is a qualified DISC and Emotional Intelligence assessor, has a Diploma in Human Resource Management Consulting and a Bachelor of Business.

Kristen is also writer and facilitator for Australian Institute of Management (AIM) in their Graduate Certificate Management / Leadership and Leading with Emotional Intelligence programmes. She is also a Master Trainer for Genos, Australia’s leading Emotional Intelligence company. Kristen runs the Sydney chapter of the NeuroLeadership Interest Group, a not-for-profit information evening, every quarter held at Google as part of their Tech Talks.
