This 1.5 hour session is only for casual and short-term temporary teachers who are maintaining accreditation at Proficient Teacher. The session will focus on developing a stronger understanding of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and provides advice on how casual teachers can maintain accreditation.
The session will cover:

• engaging with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
• building on your teaching practice at Proficient Teacher
• setting professional and personal learning goals
• monitoring time frames
• engaging in lifelong learning
• critically reflecting on your teaching practice.

Completing this session will contribute 1.5 hours of NESA Registered PD (Standard Descriptors 6.1.2 and 7.4.2) towards maintenance requirements for Proficient Teachers in NSW.
All sessions start promptly at 4pm
