EVENT DETAILS
Neck Of The Woods is a Neighbourhood Sessions music festival hosting some of Triple J’s spotlight acts, and a selection of North Queensland’s best original musicians.
The festival is set on a lush property amongst the Pinnacles Mountain Range, 30 minutes from the Townsville CBD. This year has expanded to a TWO day camping style event and a new and exciting location!
The festival’s features include over 20 hours of live music over 2 days, food trucks, neighbourhood festival marketplace, BYO drinks, camping and a family friendly environment.

EVENT TIMES:
*Festival access for Camping ticket holders only will be open from 09:00AM Saturday 30th June.
Saturday: 12:00PM to Late
Sunday: 09:00AM-Late
Monday: Festival site must be vacated by 12:00PM Monday.
LOCATION & ACCESS:
Do not attempt to visit the festival site prior to the event. We understand you may want to check out the location however this location is on a private property and cannot be accessed from the main road. Access prior to festival date is strictly prohibited and trespassing charges may apply if the private road or property are entered prior to the event date.
Directions to the festival site will be well signed on the date of the event.

PARKING:
Parking is available at the event - camping ticket holders can park at their campsite or in the festival car park.

PHOTO ID:
All Ages Event - Photo ID is strictly required for entry to the festival for patrons over 18.
WRISTBANDS:
Wristbands will be issued on entry to the festival grounds (Different colours represent different ticket types - camping/under 18/18+). Wristbands are to be worn and visible at all times. Wristbands are non-refundable, non-transferable and invalid if tampered with or broken. If you do not have a wristband or if you have the wrong coloured wristband, you will need to purchase a new wristband or leave the festival grounds.
CAMPING PASS:
- Each person camping must purchase their own individual camping pass.
- The camping pass entitles 1x Adult/Youth/Child to be at the festival site from 9am on Saturday the 30th June until 12pm on Monday the 2nd July and is inclusive of festival entry & camping.
- Camp Set Up Times: From 9am Saturday 30th June 2018
- There are no allocated camp sites and it will be first in best dressed for locations on site (please note the campgrounds are quite spacious so it should be a comfortable evening for you all).
- Strictly no vehicle movement in the camping grounds between 5:00PM and 6:00AM daily for safety reasons.
The grounds have amenities available (showers, toilets).
- There will be a drinking water station available in the festival grounds however we recommend you bring your own drinking water.
FESTIVAL DAY PASS:
- The Saturday festival day pass entitles the ticket holder to be at the festival site between 12pm and midnight on Saturday the 30th June.
- The Sunday festival day pass entitles the ticket holder to be at the festival site between 9am and 10pm on Sunday 1st July.
- Festival Day Passes DO NOT INCLUDE CAMPING - campsites will be regularly monitored by Security and wristbands checked regularly. If you are found to be at the campgrounds after midnight on Saturday or 10pm Sunday without the appropriate wristband, you will be asked to leave the festival grounds.
KIDS DAY PASS/CAMPING PASS (CHILDREN UNDER 12):
All children under the age of 12 are free.
FESTIVAL BEHAVIOUR:
The Neighbourhood Sessions Team and Festival Security team have the right to refuse entry or ask patrons to leave who behave inappropriately/illegally/offensively.
WEATHER:
The festival will go ahead regardless of weather - with the exception of an extreme weather event (eg. Cyclone/Flood/Severe Storm).
DRINKING WATER:
Bottled drinking water is available to be purchased at the merch tent or from food trucks on site. Alternatively, you might like to consider bringing your own supply of fresh drinking water.
FOOD AND DRINKS:
Several delicious food trucks will be available at the event to purchase Lunch/Dinner and Breakfast.
BYO Alcohol - No bar available at the event. We encourage responsible consumption of alcohol.
Underage drinking or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Police will be notified and appropriate action taken if necessary.
ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES:
Those caught with illegal substances in their possession will be asked to leave the festival grounds and dealt with by law.
LOSS/THEFT OF PERSONAL ITEMS:
The Neighbourhood Sessions Team are unable to accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal items.
RUBBISH:
Please take home your rubbish or utilise the bins provided around the festival grounds. Please use these facilities thoughtfully. Preferably take all your rubbish home with you and help us keep our friendly Neighbourhood clean and tidy.
CAMPSITE NOISE:
Please avoid playing loud music/noise in your camping area at night so everyone can enjoy a good nights sleep.
ANIMALS:
No pets or animals are allowed on site (Excluding guide dogs or assistance dogs)
REFUNDS:
Tickets are non refundable or transferrable - please select your ticket type carefully.
CASH OUT FACILITIES:
Please bring cash to the event. Although some of our food trucks and vendors will have Eftpos facilities available, there will NOT be an ATM facility on site and many vendors take cash only.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Tickets are strictly non-refundable.
WHO IS ON THE FESTIVAL LINEUP?
The Festival lineup and set times will be announced via Facebook and our website www.neighbourhoodsessions.com leading up to the event.
CAN I PURCHASE A FAMILY PASS?
We do not have a family pass ticket. This year we have kept the prices down for youth passes and children under 12 are free. Please purchase separate tickets for youth and adults. Children under 12 do not require tickets.
