Event description

Description

The Business Centre created The Human Services Business Hub to help Human Services providers and businesses to navigate NDIS Registration requirements. We realise that it is not easy to understand the audit process and that it can be time-consuming, confusing and frustrating.

In this practical workshop our dedicated and passionate Human Services NDIS registration experts will take you through the A to Z of the registration process and have you well on your way to being ‘audit ready’ to meet the NDIS Practice Standards and beyond.

Our industry and business savvy team have carefully built a thoughtful and highly regarded workshop. Included on the day will be practical guidance documents that are yours take away.

We built this workshop to support you to learn how to complete your registration all in one go. Our mission is to provide you with the skills to custom build the systems that make sense to your business which will ensure that you can succesfully implement them.

This is a working workshop and we are there to support you all the way. To sustain you through the day we have included a catered lunch and morning tea to ensure your success.

We have had extensive experience in supporting businesss through the trial of the NDIS in the NSW Hunter in 2013, the introduction of the NDIS commision in July 2018 through to today. Our smart scaffolded process is focussed on supporting you to complete the NDIS Commission online (self-assessment) application, get started on your policies and procedures and have the confidence to be audit ready.

In this NDIS Start to Audit Ready Workshop you will cover:

  • What the NDIS Commission is all about and what your obligations as an NDIS registered business will be
  • Latest update on system changes and how to interpret them
  • Which compliance and audit pathway you are on
  • Understanding the legislation and regulations that you will be complying with
  • Completing the online application and self-assessment (bring your laptop)
  • Understanding and completing compliance and how to generate evidence
  • What the audit looks and feels like
  • NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
  • Systems and Policy Procedure Writing (scaffolded policy templates and instructions will be provided)
  • Opportunity to network and meet our team and fellow NDIS providers.

You will receive all the documents you need to manage your NDIS Verification Audit without extensive costs to your business. All this documentation is also relevant to the certification pathway.

The workshop will include morning tea and a catered networking lunch.

This workshop will provide you with help to write your own NDIS compliance policy and procedure documents with our industry and business expert team of presenters.

The workshop is conducted in a supportive peer-to-peer learning environment and will provide you with all you need to successfully complete your NDIS registration and be audit ready.
