Event description

Description

From 1 October, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will fund reasonable and necessary disability-related health supports for NDIS participants.

The NDIA is running information sessions for allied health and nursing practitioners, local health district staff, community health staff, support coordinators and service providers who are delivering disability-related health supports under the NDIS.

The session will cover:

  • implementation of the Disability Reform Council decision
  • how supports will be included in participants' NDIS plans
  • reasonable and necessary (R&N) decisions for support categories

There will also be opportunity, both during and after session, to ask any questions.

Accessibility is important to us. If you have any accessibility, interpreter or other requirements please advise at the time of registration. Please note, we require a minimum of five (5) business days' notice to book AUSLAN interpreters.

If you have any questions regarding the specifics of this session, please contact us at provider.support@ndis.gov.au.
