NDIS Coordination: NDS Professional Community of Practice Meetings
Event Information
Description
The NDIS Coordination CoP focuses on sharing practical advice amongst professionals working in key operational roles in disability organisations. As organisations transition to the NDIS, many find it difficult to be across new requirements, guidelines, and policies, and to share this information with staff and managers. This CoP is an opportunity to share the latest information and strategies to operate successfully in the NDIS.
Since mid-2016, these CoP meetings have hosted practical discussions on many emerging NDIS issues, including:
- Operational strategy in the NDIS
- Support coordination
- Troubleshooting the portal
- Measuring participant goals
- Service agreements
There will be a CoP meeting every two months. Please register to attend the next meeting or contact Liza Brown-Pinsky, details below, to register your interest to hear about future meetings.
Meetings are a great opportunity for providers to tap into good practice and hear how other organisations are responding to key emerging issues. Join the Community of Practice to be part of these conversations in 2018
Who should attend?
NDS recommends that operations managers and frontline managers involved in NDIS transition are most suited to attend. Attendance is free, however bookings are essential. Please note, organisations must be NDIS-registered providers in Victoria to attend.
Teleconferencing and videoconferencing facilities will be available, unless otherwise noted.
