National Disability Services (NDS) is organising a free networking event exclusively for allied health professionals in the ACT working with clients with NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding. The aim is for allied health professionals delivering services under the NDIS to meet peers and colleagues from other allied health professions to get a better sense who else is delivering NDIS allied health services and build connections for future referrals, multidisciplinary service delivery and /or collaboration.
The event will be run in a speed dating format to give you the opportunity to meet a number of new people in a short time and will be followed by drinks to allow you to have more in depth conversations with your ‘dates’ and meet the other allied health practitioners. Doors open from 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
Register now! Places are limited.
Interested, but not able to attend on this date? The next speed dating event will be held in June 2017. Email your interest in attending to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event is part of the ACT Allied Health Market Capacity Building Project. The project is managed by National Disability Services working in partnership with the ACT Government, with funding from the NDIA. It aims to facilitate a process for ACT allied health service providers to collectively establish and sustain supports to enable them to thrive under the NDIS. The project will identify allied health professionals working with the NDIS in ACT, and provide opportunities for knowledge management, networking and collaborative learning.
National Disability Practitioners (NDP) is happy to help answer any questions you may have about this event. Contact NDP at 02 9256 3194 or email@example.com.
