As a Public Interest Disclosure officer, you play an important role in helping those who have information about wrongdoing covered by the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2003 (PID Act) to speak up.
What you learn in the session
• Your role and responsibilities as a PID officer.
• Who else has a role under the PID Act and what their responsibilities are.
• Key requirements of the PID Act including confidentiality.
The session includes time to ask questions although we cannot talk about disclosures you might be dealing with.
The session requires some pre-reading, with links to the information and the Teams online event sent to you after you register.

Audience
This session is for those designated by their Principal Executive Officer as a PID officer. It is suitable for new PID Officers and those who may have attended a session in the past.
