About this event

Community Industry Group is pleased to present another forum in our Navigating Local Services series. After the success of our first look at End of Life Issues, members and other stakeholders are invited to hear keynote speakers and visit a marketplace of providers involved in MORE End of Life Issues.

The purpose of the event is to help community service organisations, carers, frontline staff and others understand a range of end of life issues, in order to support their clients more effectively.

Our agenda of topics includes new information and updates from previous presenters

• Who will look after my pets? – RSPCA Home Ever After Program

• Progress update from MCCI – advanced care directives for culturally diverse communities

* Showcasing a new podcast project from the talented young people of Beyond Empathy “Parting”

• Services available in this area - 2 minute 'Power Pitches' from a range of related service providers

Target audience: Community Service providers, aged & disability carers/supporters, first responders, frontline staff in: GPs, housing providers, general health services, neighbourhood centres, youth services, disability services, multicultural & refugee services, Job Network Providers Faith Communities etc.

Note: Catering will not be provided. It is recommended that you arrive early to purchase coffee at the cafe or you are more than welcome to bring your own food & drinks.
