NATURE PLAY QLD EMBRACING 2018 PASSPORT LAUNCH - Saturday 5th AUGUST 2017
Join us to celebrate the launch of the new special edition Nature Play QLD Embracing 2018 Passport.
This event is held by Nature Play QLD in partnership with the Embracing 2018 Legacy Program and City of Gold Coast’s Active and Healthy program.
This event is going to be a great day of nature play fun and games! This is a media event, so please anticipate for video and photography recording to be taken on the day. A waiver is included in this registration form.
We will accept the first 150 children aged between 3 and 12 years. Younger children are welcome to be there on the day, but they will not be able to participate in the coordinated activities for older kids.
In addition to the day of fun and games, every registered child will receive special goodies upon arrival and there are great prizes to be won on the day!

Parents and Carers
- You are welcome to join your children in & at any activity to assist in the process & benifits of Nature Play FUN!
- Please bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen & a picnic lunch to enjoy the beautiful surrounding of the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens.
- A variety of food trucks will be onsite for a great day in the park!!
- Cafe coffee cart is located onsite at the Friends Centre / Visitor Information.
- Being a promotional event, parents / carers must give photograph / filming consent in order to register.
- BOOK NOW because spaces are limited and this event can only cater for a certain number of participants on the day.

Nature Play QLD's mission is to increase the time Queensland kids spend in unstructured play outdoors and in nature. It is founded on the understanding that unstructured play outdoors - nature play - is fundamental to a full and healthy childhood.
Nature play promotes health benefits, including cognitive, social and emotional development, and it builds resilience and creativity as well. Experiences in nature as a child also leads to environmental awareness and stewardship later in life.
Nature Play QLD is a collaborative organisation, working with partner groups to encourage the Queensland community to value nature play, and support families to prioritise it in children’s lives. Our primary role is to advocate the nature play message and to increase access to nature play resources, events and programs for Queenslanders.
