Join the Bee Babette, Kit Prendergast, to learn about our native bees - who they are, what they do, and how we can all conserve them!

About this event

Please note that this is a program for ages 14+, and is a presentation without hands-on activities. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

Bees are incredibly diverse, and in these three sessions Kit Prendergast will introduce you to the world of native Australian Bees. Discover the basics of Bee ID, hear about Kit's fascinating research into bee pollination networks, and then dive into the specifics of identifying different native bee species! Suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.

This is the second of three sessions and will cover Kit's research into urban bee-plant interaction networks. There is no requirement to sign up for all three sessions. For details of the other two sessions, see the information and links below.
