Nature Journaling

Nature Journaling

By City of Coffs Harbour

Overview

Nature journaling is a great way to stop and enjoy our natural surroundings, whilst tapping into our creativity.

Nature Journaling is simply writing, drawing, collage or painting in response to what you see around you. It can be scientific, artistic, emotive, reflective or a combination of all of these elements. It is a great way to connect with nature, slow down, appreciate simple beauty and be creative. In this session you will be guided through a series of exercises and prompts that will introduce you to the practice of Nature Journaling and give you the confidence to begin your own unique nature journal. You might find that you are a future great Field Naturalist, writer or artist.

Suitable for ages 10 and above.
