Nature. Be in it. and The Resilience Co. have teamed up to offer a 1 day practical work shop for Primary and Early Years educators and staff.

Kick start your class' foray into nature pedagogy in 2018. Learn the why's and importantly the HOW. Join us for a practical, hands on workshop with all the curriculum planning you need to be inspired to take your class out into nature with confidence.

Lisa, Clinical Psychologist will discuss WHY nature learning and risk taking is essential to child development. Kara, Primary Teacher and a Level 3 Forest School Leader, will lead you through HOW: including, safety considerations, equipment, activities and curriculum planning.

$260.00 per person including lunch and refreshments. Please advise theresilienceco@iinet.net.au or kara@naturebeinit.com if you have any dietary requirements. We will be going into nature for a hands-on experience in the afternoon, so please advise if you have any relevant medical conditions (including ant or bee sting allergies).

What to wear: Comfortable warm clothing and bring a waterproof jacket. We will be outside for the afternoon. Closed toe shoes and a water bottle are required. You may like to bring a small camping stool if sitting on the ground is uncomfortable for you.
