About this event
Who lives in a Hollow?
In this workshop we will focus on the importance of tree hollows for many native wildlife species. Photographs and examples of small hollows from nature will be used to help you understand how they are formed and what they look like in real life.
Kids will get to use plasticine to make their own hollow-dwelling creatures. This activity will spark curiosity and conversation around hollows as wildlife habitats.
Kids will leave with a better understanding of hollows and why we need them. They will become more aware of what kind of animals are around them and where they live which will allow them to think of ways to provide habitat and safe shelter for creatures in their own backyards.
Suitable for ages 5-12 years.
Do not register children under the adult ticket section as we only have a limited number of kids per session.
Presented by Green Heroes
