Event description

Description

City of Parramatta Sustainability & Waste team are presenting a Native Stingless Bee Workshop this October. The workshop is part of our Hive & Seek Program which provides hives to residents who commit to eliminating pesticide use and building local biodiversity.

Our special guests from Sydney Stingless Bees are presenting a wonderful workshop on Stingless Bees habits, their hives, and ecology. We will be splitting two hives so you will get to see inside the hive and see firsthand how these amazing creatures work.

Join us for a relaxing morning at Lake Parramatta to learn about native bees and our Hive & Seek Program.

Open to City of Parramatta Residents and their guests.

For more information please call Lisa Kollaras, Environmental Education Officer on 9806 8292 or email lkollaras@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au.
