About this Event

Local native plant species are adapted to our climate which makes them easy to grow in your own backyard and can offer colour and texture to make your garden a beautiful wildlife sanctuary. To celebrate the opening of the Karawatha's Free native plant nursery Environment centre volunteer will take you on a journey though Karawatha Forest where participants can learn all about the local native plants that are well suited to their own garden.

Age: This walk is suitable for ages 5+

Cost: Free.

Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Walks are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
