Description

The Native Food Market is an opportunity to learn about and sample Australian native foods and flavours.

Recieve tastings from a range of vendors including Bushtucker Icecream, Indigenu and Outback Pride. Flavours will include kangaroo meatballs, lemon myrtle tea, Quandong icecream and more.

The Native Food Market is open from 11.30am - 1.30pm Wendesday 23 August. The event is free, places are limited.

Those who register in advance will recieve a free gift on the day.

FAQs

Where is the Hub Mezzanine?
Hub Central is located on the North Terrace Campus. Entry to the Mezzanine is via the stairs opposite Taste Baguette. There is also lift access.

Does the event run for the whole two hours?
The event runs from 11.30am-1.30pm. You are welcome to come to the event at any time during these hours. We do encourage people to come earlier as we cannot guarantee all foods will be available for the entire duration of the event. Please set aside 20-30 minutes to sample from each stall, find out information and partake in the activities.


Will all dietary requirements be catered for?
Due to the nature of this event not all food items will have an allergen alternative. Each stall will be able to notify you of the ingredients within the product and we have ensured vegan, vegetarian and gluten free offerings are at the event. Please talk to the stallholders on the day for additional information.


Do I have to register?
Registration is highly recommended. Those who register prior to the event will receive a free gift on the day.


What I can’t make the event?
If you cannot make the event it is important you cancel your ticket order so we can manage attendance and catering accordingly.
