3 Day Plant ID Course at Aldinga, Thursdays: 26 Oct, 2, 9 Nov

Join us for this FREE 3-day course and learn how to:

  • recognise features of main plant families

  • use botanical keys

  • explore local native plant books to improve identification skills in the field.

Each day comprises a morning of theory plus a hands-on field trip in the afternoon.

Day 1 – Introduction to resources + field trip

Day 2 and 3 – Plant classification, features of families and genera + field trip

Presented by Andrew Crompton, botanist and ecological restoration expert

Morning tea provided

Please BYO lunch

Own transport between class and field sessions required.

These workshops are for current environmental volunteers and are funded from the NRM levy.
