Description

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s ‘National Vaccination Course for Pharmacists’ has been developed to provide the knowledge and range for skills required for pharmacists to provide vaccination services within the community pharmacy environment.

The course outlines the regulatory requirements which cover the provision of immunisation services within pharmacy, the skills and tools necessary to support immunisation services, and the one day course further provides practical skill-based training in safe injection technique.

The National Vaccination Course for Pharmacists is a blended course, consisting of online learning modules covering influenza, dTPa and MMR, followed by a one day face-to-face workshop to give pharmacists the practical skills required for succesful delivery of immunisation.

Are there any requirements to enter the event?

All students must be APHRA registered pharmacists to attend.

Guild Clinical Cancellation and Refund Policy

Learners who cancel their course are required to contact the Guild Clinical team.

Under the full-fee paying policy, course fees will be refunded in the following circumstances for participants who withdraw in writing:

  • 10 working days or more prior to the course commencement – 80% of the cost of the course

  • 5 working days prior to the course commencement – 50% of the cost of the course

  • 5 working days or less prior to the course commencement – Nil refund

The refund will be paid within two calendar weeks of the day on which the refund was approved by the departmental manager.

The refund must be made to the same person or body from whom the payment was received.

In the unlikely event that Guild Clinical is unable to deliver the course in full, a refund of all the course money paid to date will be offered. The refund will be paid within two weeks of the day on which the course ceased to be provided.

Upon enrolment you agree to be invoiced for the amount in full. If you wish to pay directly by credit card, please call Guild Learning and Development on (02) 9467 7130 upon completing the enrolment process.
