If you coordinate or manage volunteers or have management or governance responsiblity in an organisation that works with volunteers, the National Standards will be a useful tool for your organisation.
This four hour workshop will allow organisations to prepare and plan for their implementation of the Standards with the guidance of our experienced facilitators and with support from the sector.
Participants will unpack the changes that will be needed for their organisations to meet the requirements of the new Standards and begin the process of reviewing their organisations’ performance using the gap
analysis tool. Working together, the group will then identify any barriers to change and their possible
solutions. The facilitators will take participants through the process of developing an action plan and using the National Standards Guide and Workbook.
All participants will be provided with a hard copy of the National Standards Implementation Guide and
Workbook and will have access to the electronic workbook section after attendance at the workshop.
