National Reconciliation Week Event
Date and time
Please join us to celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2022.
About this event
On Friday 3 June, please join the Sydney Olympic Park Authority team and Aboriginal People and Culture team at Murama Dance Ground, Sydney Olympic Park to have a yarn about DPE’s progress towards Reconciliation and learn how we can collaborate to Be Brave and Make Change together with our communities, staff and stakeholders.
The event will include dance performances by Jannawi Dance Clan, a panel discussion with DPE staff and external stakeholders and the opportunity to learn how everyone can make change beginning with brave actions in their daily lives – where they live, work, play and socialise.
From 2pm there will be a networking afternoon tea, as well as tours of Murama Healing Space, featuring artworks, stories and cultural materials from Community and an opportunity to meet Aunty Kerrie Kenton, Local Aboriginal Elder of the Darug and Dhunghutti Nations.
Please register your attendance by 1 June.
Getting there:
Car: park in Newington Armory Car Park next to the Armory Wharf Café
