About this event

This workshop, presented by Neerja Ahuja, will centre around managing stress for good mental health. We will be looking at understanding mental health from ayurvedic perspective and talk about foods, lifestyle and behaviour that worsen mental health vs foods, lifestyle and behavior that improve mental health, and tips, tools and techniques for enhancing mental health. This event is open to all Yoga teachers, members and non-members alike.

About the Presenter - Neerja Ahuja

Principal Consultant, Director and Course Facilitator at Ayurveda Awareness Centre (AAC) www.ayurveda-awareness.com.au , Adv. Dip. in Ayu., Dip of Edu. in Human Values , Certified Yoga Instructor, M.A. (Mathematical Statistics), Grad. Dip. (Computing).

Neerja is a trained consultant and therapist and course facilitator since 2001, teaching Ayurveda and running her clinical practice.

Neerja is a published writer in national magazines and professional journals.

In clinic, Neerja consults clients for diet, life style routines for physical and mental health, and emotional hygiene, offering variety of Ayurvedic detoxification and de-stressing treatments.

Her work as course facilitator for nationally recognized courses, seminars, workshops, retreats and consultations with thousands of clients has deepened my understanding of human psychology and why and how people get sick and how they can truly heal. She continues to run regular seminars/ workshops and courses at Ayurveda Awareness Centre (AAC). Her online courses have been taken up by students in 135 countries.

You can also join her in her online LIVE or self paced programs on health and wellness with Ayurveda, including one year “Foundation Training in Clinical Ayurveda and Self Care”.

Neerja is especially interested in teaching about Ayurveda and its place in practical life for ordinary people, health and Spirituality.
