NASA Space Apps Adelaide 2017
Sat., 29/04/2017, 8:00 am – Sun., 30/04/2017, 5:00 pm ACST
#SpaceAppsADL is back again in 2017, hosted by the Government of South Australia’s Space Industry and R&D Collaborations Office.
The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is a great opportunity for students, professionals, artists, designers, coders, storytellers (and makers), builders, technologists, scientists, creatives and generally any space enthusiast to have a crack at solving challenges to our Earth's problems using NASA open source data.
On Friday 21 April, join us at the Bradley Forum, kindly provided by the University of South Australia for a Pre-Event Information Night where you will hear from interesting speakers and get a chance to meet with the other participants, form challenge teams of up to 4 people and start figuring out the challenges you want to work on.
Then on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April at the same venue, the NASA Space Apps 2017 'Hackathon' Challenge will take place simultaneously in different cities all around the world. That’s two days of space coding, design, problem solving, pondering and general hacking with a great community of enthusiasts. There are prizes up for grabs for the top four teams, two of whom will be nominated to global judging by NASA!
Participation in both events is free.
Check out Space Apps for more infomation about Space Apps and be sure to register on there for the Adelaide event as well as getting your Eventbrite tickets to either of the two events described above.
We look forward to seeing you at #SpaceAppsADL.
