Event description

Description

Welcome to Narellan Poetry Slam!

A poetry slam is an opportunity for ANYBODY to share something they've written in front of a live and engaged audience! It doesn't have to be a "poem" - any kind of story, rap or rant is acceptable!

DOORS - 6:30PM
SLAM - 7:00PM

POETRY SLAM RULES:

  • 3 minute time limit
  • All original work
  • No props or costumes
  • No background music (singing and a capella are ok)

And YOU - the audience - get to judge! Judges are selected randomly on the night. The top poet gets a PRIZE!

If you would like the opportunity to receive feedback on your work prior to the slam, come along to our poetry workshop on May 14th. Limited spots available - reserve yours here.

We acknowledge this event takes place on Dhawaral land and pay our respects.
