NAIDOC Week Welcome to Country and Flag Raising

Description

Join us for a traditional Welcome to Country and Flag Raising Ceremony as we recognise NAIDOC Week and the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The ceremony will start with a Welcome to Country before a flag raising ceremony led by members of our community. After the ceremony, you are invited to join the Mayor in the Council Chambers for morning tea.

This event is proud to be accessible and includes an Auslan interpreter, and is a wheelchair accessible venue.

This will be the final event in the city's Kaya Subiaco celebrations for 2017.

Ticket information

You are not required to bring a ticket with you. However, names will be checked at the door for this event.
