Description

The City of Boroondara, in collaboration with Wurundjeri Council, will officially launch the opening of the Wurundjeri Heritage Trail at Chandler Park for NAIDOC week on Tuesday 4 July from 10am - 11:30am.

This walking trail is designed to provide visitors with a deeper understanding of the culture and contemporary aspirations of the Wurundjeri community.

This family-friendly outdoor event will include a smoking ceremony performed by a Wurundjeri Elder, education about Wurundjeri language and culture, planting, children’s activities, short guided walks and light refreshments.

PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS NO PARKING ONSITE. Please ensure you book a seat on the community bus, if required (pick up/drop off at Camberwell). Once you book a seat online a Council officer will be in touch with departure and location details.
