Event description

Description

"What does it take for people we support to to lead lives of contribution and belonging?"

Our organisation is on a journey of continued learning about how we can work alongside people to create lives that are full, inclusive and personally meaningful:

2017 Speakers

We are excited to announce we will be joined by Tim and Judy Sharp. Tim is an artist whose main character Laser Beak Man was recently transformed into a production featured in the 2017 Brisbane Festival. We will also have the opportunity to witness stories of people supported by UnitingCare and their supporters.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in understanding what it takes to work together to create life stories that are filled with meaning, purpose and real opportunities for contribution and belonging. This might include people supported by UnitingCare, families and supporters, employees of across UnitingCare Queensland Disability Services.

Why attend?

You will have the opportunity to connect with others on this journey, be inspired by stories of life, share part of your story, and explore new ways forward. So come along and join the conversation.
