Event description
Restoring your creeklines and retaining moisture on farms through grazing management

About this Event

Join Sustainable Farms (and our partner Young Landcare) for this field day as part of our 2019 Summer Series.

This family friendly field day will focus on works you can implement to restore creeklines on your property, and insights about holistic grazing regimes. Our hosts for the day are Sam and Clare Johnson, who have had great success improving the environment and natural assets on their property 'Windermere'. Come along to hear from Sam about their experience of managing grazing to retain moisture on the farm, and to learn more about what you can do for your farm's creeklines.

Come to learn and chat, and stay for a free BBQ dinner. There will be a kids program, so bring them along too.

Speakers include Sam Johnson of Windermere, Luke Peel ( from The Mulloon Institute's Community Landscape Rehydration Project) and senior ecologist Mason Crane from Sustainable Farms.
