FACE MASKS MANDATORY INDOORS - Face masks are a requirement whilst indoors at the facility (eg. bathrooms, changerooms, entry, etc.).
Directive from SA Health with respect to COVID-19 guidelines have resulted in the introduction of some changes to the operations of the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre.
These include:
- Introduction of session times
- Pre-booking to ensure the maximum number of people (200 per session) enables physical distancing and contact tracing records.
Waterpark
Open between 12:00pm-5:00pm daily (Please consider this when booking session times)
Session Times
Session times apply to support physical distancing and to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the facility.
During the week, Monday – Friday there will be four sessions to choose from;
- 6.30am – 9.00am = 2.5hrs.
- 9.15am – 1.15pm = 4 hrs.
- 1.30pm – 5.30pm = 4 hrs.
- 5.45pm – 7.00pm = 1.25 hrs. [this session may be extended during hot weather]
On Saturday / Sunday – there will be three sessions to choose from;
- 9.00am – 12.00 = 3 hrs.
- 12.15pm – 3.15pm = 3hrs.
- 3.30pm – 6.00pm = 2.5 hrs
Lap Swimming
Lap swimmers will have a designated lane in the pool across each of the daily sessions however, a booking for the required session is still essential.
WATCH AROUND WATER
We are a registered Watch Around Water facility. The following criteria applies;
- Children under 5 years must be constantly supervised and remain within arm’s reach.
- Children under 10 years must be accompanied into the facility and constantly supervised by a parent/ guardian
- Children under 13 years must be accompanied into the Centre by a responsible person 16 years or over and supervised at all times.
- Unsupervised children (of any age) will be removed from the water if the lifeguard is concerned for their safety.
Payment
Payment is processed upon entry at the Swimming Centre. Please have your ticket printed, or ready to display on your phone to reduce waiting times at the gate.
