Description

MUMMY, I’M NOT NAUGHTY…

Just the title of this pulls at your heart strings doesn’t it. That’s why you’ve clicked, because in one way or another, you can connect with it. Maybe you were the kid that wasn’t understood or you’re the parent who is thinking either “yeah right” or “what if they’re not”.

This workshop is designed to explore areas of our lifestyle that may be impacting your childs behaviour AND offering safe solutions if you decide that it’s something you want to work on.

PART ONE - ADDITIVES AND PRESERVATIVES

Have you looked at those numbers on the back of the packets, even some of the names. You can’t pronounce half of them and what the hell do the numbers even mean?

Well what may (or may not) surprise you, is those numbers, those names you can’t pronounce, have side effects….. big big side effects when it comes to how they interact with not only our brains, but our childs brain. Some of the side effects include - and I kid you not - “May cause hyperactivity”.

How can we really know if our kids are being “naughty” OR if they are having a reaction, experiencing a side effect, of consuming a toxic chemical that has been put into our food?
How can we as parents get angry at our kids when these chemicals are charging around their brain and they literally can not control what is going on in their bodies?
And what do we do about it?

In Part ONE of the workshop, we are going to take off the lid on these numbers and names and let you know EXACTLY what they are and what they do to you and your kids when they eat them.
We will also provide you with simple solutions when it comes to food choices so you can go home and start to implement your new found knowledge so you can help bring some calm into your family home.

PART TWO - ESSENTIAL OILS FOR BEHAVIOUR AND THE BRAIN

We are big advocates for natural and safe options when parenting our children every day. Essential Oils are a tool to help support you, your household and your kids to be able to feel more calm and in control and to have that feeling felt throughout your home.

We will show you tools and strategies you can use and teach your kids now, so they learn this while they are young, to avoid heading for other coping “tools” or substances when they get older.

Essential Oils are scientifically proven to be a powerful mood influencer and have a direct route to the limbic area of the brain where all our emotions and thoughts are processed (think inside out - the movie). We will cover how these work with the brain and how you can use these oils to help support your kids to keep calm, and have tools that they can use themselves when they are feeling overwhelmed AND, tools for you Mumma! Because you need some tools to help you too! Parenting is one of the most rewarding and most challenging things anyone will ever do, so having tools to help you on a daily basis is a must. And, tools that will not harm you or your family over the course of time that you use them.

Join Jess Edwards, Early Childhood Educator and Mum or 3 little rugrats, one of whom has inspired her to help other mums who have kids who need behavioural support, and, Rosie Nerney, Holistic Health Coach, doTERRA leader and mum of 4 girls, one of whom has also inspired her, to help other parents learn how to use essential oils as tools to manage behavioural highs and lows and support the family for a peaceful home.
