Not sure what to do on your winter break? Thinking about flexing your problem-solving muscles? MUBES MediThon might be for you!

About this event

MUBES MediThon is a 3-day long fun and challenging MedTech team competition (Makeathon) where you get to work hands on solving some real world healthcare problems. As a participant, you will get a chance to access some brand new and exciting tools/resources at the Telstra Creator Space at Melbourne Connect!

The competition builds up to a final pitching event where your prototypes will be judged by a panel of academics and industry professionals. Winning teams will gain various prizes and opportunities!

This year's theme 'Children Are Not Small Adults!' is provided by our Executive Sponsor, Navi Medical Technologies.

Why come along to the MUBES MediThon?

Sign up details :

  • Open to any student from the University of Melbourne
  • Each team will consist of 5 people.
  • You can sign up as a team or individually (we will match you up with a group!)
  • If you are currently overseas, please fill out this Expression of Interest form if you would be interested in attending the event online. You can design your prototype using any software (and even get us to 3D print them) and present it online!
