Description

About the walk...

This is a beautiful walk taking in gorgeous bush around the Mt Kembla area. The walk can be steep in sections so ideally some average fitness will assist. The walk enjoys a lush cabbage tree palm forest and explores historic sites around the Mt Kembla area, including a stop in the Windy Gully cemetary. The walk is quite long and does have some hills, but is not overly strenous. The preference is for adults, but if you want to bring older children over 10yo who are adept at bushwalking it's fine to bring them.

This is about a 4hr walk allowing plenty of time to take in the bush, take some photos, meet some new people and enjoy the sights.

Full information on the walk, parking and meeting spots will be sent via email to ticketholders.

FAQs

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, the walk is only available to people over 10 years old so everyone can enjoy the walk to the maximum. Kids can generally get a little bored with the length of this walk, so consider if you are are going to be asked "are we there yet" the whole way.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is very limited. Please carpool where possible.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

jjjenaej@gmail.com.au

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No need to print your ticket, I can check you in without it. :)

How long is the walk?

We aim for about 4hrs, but depending on the group and how much fun we are having, this might be more. It's advisable not to schedule anything too close, as we won't be rushing to finish if someone needs to be somewhere.
