Mid Year Camp (For New and Returning Students)

MSA Orientation Camps are a great way to meet new people and make new friends.

New students, returning students, and exchange students are all welcome. 

As part of this student-run program, the MSA offers a number of 3-day camps at the spectacular PGL Campaspe campsite. 

Along with new and returning students just like yourself, you’ll enjoy

• relaxing down on the beautiful lake at Campaspe,
• a trivia night with bonus points challenges (Night 1),
• themed party night (Night 2 - When I grow up, I wanna be...)
• a huge range of activities offered at Monash including quidditch, circus arts, dancing and heaps more!

Run by student volunteers, it's an orientation camp with a difference.

Past activities have included: Box wars, taekwondo workshops, and a fire show by the circus club MCJAF.

Location: Beautiful PGL Campaspe Downs Adventure Camp, next to Campaspe Down Lake

What is covered in the Price: Food, dormitory accommodation, transport to and from the campsite, and loads of activities

This event is hosted by MSA Volunteering: Camps & Events program. This leadership program was established in 1974 and aims to socialise and orientate new Monash students prior to Week 0. MSA Camps and Events is a volunteer leadership program that provides Monash students with an opportunity to meet other students prior to their first day on campus. The events we run are fun, inexpensive and accessible, with the aim of providing safe spaces where students can meet other students, who they may never have bumped into otherwise. We welcome all new and returning Monash students (Domestic, International, Exchange students) from all Monash Campuses, as well as returning students who wish to take part.
