About this Event

As we begin to emerge from isolation and yearn for social, community and creative connection, join Party Leader, Alison Plevey and Prof. Will Steffen (Climate Council of Australia) on Zoom for an introductory session exploring what Move to Zero 2.0: It’s Electrifying! is all about.

Get involved in the thinking, feedback and creative process for our second series of films. We would love your input!

How can we as a community spark new awareness, seize opportunity and action in moving to zero emissions transport?

WHEN: Thursday 4th June

TIME: 12-1pm

During this challenging time for the global community, we reflect on what is truly important, what is urgent and what we can do to contribute to the health of humanity and the ecosystems that support us.

Canberra’s own professional company, Australian Dance Party (ADP), makers of site specific, change driven dance, is excited to commence the development of a second series of dance films, titled Move to Zero 2.0: It’s Electrifying! This creative communication project will see the development of a series of three micro films focussing on zero emissions transport and complimentary health benefits for ourselves and the environment in moving sustainably from A to B.

Through Move to Zero 2.0 we hope to contribute to a revived sense of community connection, creativity and environmental stewardship. You are invited to be a part of sparking ideas for Move to Zero 2.0: It’s Electrifying! through ADP’s community consultative activities, online and in person, to collectively continue the momentum in transitioning towards zero net emissions by 2045 or sooner.

Move to Zero is a project of Australian Dance Party, supported by the ACT Government’s Community Zero Emissions Program.
