Mothers Circle (with babies 0-18 months) Term 1 Week 1
Event Information
About this Event
Our Community Mothers Group is a women’s sharing circle to support your wellbeing.
As much as it's about the natural “baby talk” challenges and questions that can arise, this is also a space for deeper emotional, social and mental support for growing mothers.
Consider this a nourishing invitation for new mums to gather in the park with their babies to:
- Socialise and connect with other new mothers in the same season of parenthood.
- Learn and share experiences within a safe framework for expressing honestly while holding space for diversity.
- Discuss different options for building confidence as a mum.
- Have access to referral information and support services if needed.
- Play and bonding with your child and other families.
- Eventually transition to playgroup.
Sessions are free.
WHAT: Each week we will engage in a guided share, open discussion and play focused on a balance between women-centred nourishment, mothers' learning and newborn development.
WHERE: Mascot Memorial Park on picnic mats spread out, following safe COVID practices.
We gather under the mulberry tree most weeks, unless the weather changes. We will notify you of any changes.
WHO: Mothers and their newborn babies 0-18 months old . We can have a maximum of 20 people, including babies, to attend one session due to COVID restrictions.
*If you are a new family to our services, you are required to complete our online registration form one time here.
WHEN: This ticket is to book in for Tuesday 2nd February, 1pm-2pm.
*If you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make your spot available to another family.
