Cost M $12 G $15 (includes coffee at Mornington Yacht Club)

Venue Meet at The Old Post Office Museum, corner Main Street & The Esplanade, Mornington and walk along the Foreshore Reserve to Mornington Yacht Club

Join Diane White and Janet Grove for a talk and tour of The Old Post Office Museum, looking at objects relating to the football tragedy. Janet Grove is a direct descendant of Charlie Allchin who died in the 1892 football tragedy. See the Football Disaster Memorial monument across the road, after which Andrew Hazewinkel will point out significant landmarks from the Foreshore Reserve prior to heading to the Mornington Yacht Club members bar for coffee.

Note that we will be walking approx. 700m on gravel paths with a descent to the Mornington Yacht Club.
