'Medical mishaps and maladies in the Brontë lives and novels’
To celebrate the 200th birthday of Charlotte Brontë, Dr Chandra will explore the health of the sisters and speculate on the diseases and disorders of their fictional characters and treatments used at the time. Although all sisters were well known as poets and novelists, Charlotte is best known for her novel ‘Jane Eyre’, Emily wrote ‘Wuthering Heights’, and Anne known for ‘The Tenant of Wildfell Hall’.
Light refreshments will be served.
