Moreland Local Food Forum and Networking
Date and time
Join us for networking, local food updates and an exploration of the impact of food culture on our wellbeing, rituals and sense of place
About this event
Moreland Council invites you to celebrate the achievements of our amazing local food community
We are gathering to participate in conversations about local food projects, including the next steps in implementing a Community Food Hub in the north of Moreland. There will also be opportunities to network and connect with others who are passionate about creating a sustainable, just and vibrant food system.
This FREE event will include a private introduction and tour of the Urban Eats exhibition by artist Jessie DiBlasi, which showcases works made in response to the rich tapestry of cultural diversity found in Melbourne. Viewers are enticed to participate in experiences born from ritual, celebration and the sharing of food.
This event event will be run under COVID-safe settings. Please bring a fitted facemask and your own drinking cup / mug.
Light refreshments (vegetarian) will be provided
Children are welcome accompanied by an adult.
