Come Skate with Totem these School Holidays

About this Event

Come and celebrate the October school holidays 2019 with our skateboarding workshop and jam.

We'll be heading to Moorebank Skatepark to host two skateboarding workshops and an open skate jam.

The day will include a demo from some of Sydney's best skaters as well as a bunch of goodies from our friends at Pass Port, Sunday, Vans and Volcom.

Beginners Workshop: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Intermediate Workshop: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Open Skate Jam: 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Our skateboarding workshops include:

The correct standing techniques

The correct stopping techniques

How to control the board

How to make safe decisions while skateboarding

Fun games to practice all of the above

The jam session is designed for skateboarders to showcase their skills, gain confidence and skate with each other in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere.

Special thanks to Liverpool Council.

Bookings are essential.

Q. How do I know which workshop to register for?

A. Our beginner workshops are designed for those that want to learn or get more comfortable with standing on a skateboarding, pushing or riding around and turning their board

Our intermediate workshop is more focused towards those that are comfortable skating on their skateboard, wants to learn some basic level tricks or practice going down ramps at the skatepark.

We ask you to only register for the workshop that is suitable for your ability. That way the workshops are run to cater for everyone and nobody gets left behind.

Q. Is there a minimum or maximum age requirement to enter the event?

A. Yes, the participant must be at least 5 years old and there's no maximum age.

Q. What do I need to bring into the event?

A. We supply all necessary equipment for our events (skateboard, helmet and pads). Feel free to bring along your own board or helmet so the coaches can do a quick safety check!

Q. What do I do if I have registered for an event and can't make it anymore?

A. If you have registered for an event and can't make it anymore, we ask you to cancel your ticket. We often sell out and people are then put onto waitlists. If you cancel your ticket it means someone else can come to the event. If you are having difficulty cancelling your ticket please contact us at

Q. How about if it looks like rain?

A. If it looks like it's going to rain, you will be sent an event update email as soon as possible. Sorry, but we can't skate in the rain!
