Description

Join us at Swansea Library for a morning of conversation, stories and intrigue with the talented Monte Dwyer. Monte is the author of several successful books including his latest "Struberville: Consequences of Isolation" a True Crime account of Bruce Schuler's murder at Palmerville Station in Far North Queensland. Struberville is part of Monte's "Red in the Centre" series: selected true stories exploring Australian life and people.

Monte was born in Newcastle and is a diverse character with many achievements under his belt, including a long-running stint as weatherman on the Today Show. He has worked as a professional fisherman, fashion model, foreign aid worker, playwright, musician and journalist among other titles.

There will be books for purchase and signing on the day.
