Description

Look and make at Orange Regional Museum with activities and craft for Under 5s in 2019. The program is designed for parents/carers with children aged between 3-5 years.

During Term 1, children, with help from their parents/carers and museum staff, will discover the wonderful foods we find on our plates. This progam is run in conjunction with the current exhibition Paddock to Plate: a history of food and wine in Orange and district.

All programs for Term 1 will be held in the West Room, Orange Regional Gallery and will involve an engagement program at the Museum.

Monday 4 February – Pear Printing with Fruit

Monday 11 February – Moving food

Monday 18 February – Grapes and wine

Monday 25 February – Horses

Monday 4 March – Peas and Potatoes

Monday 11 March – Storing food

Monday 18 March – Sheep

Monday 25 March – Apples

Monday 1 April – Cows

Monday 8 April – Preparing Food

Every Monday during term time, Each session commences at 10.00am and will run for approximately 1 hour, concluding at 11am, excluding school holidays and public holidays.

Each program is strictly limited to 15 children and a parent/carer.
