Learn about the Club’s connections with a beekeeping initiative in a remote village accessible only by canoe nestled amidst the world’s second largest rainforest in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

  • Discover the differences between beekeeping in Congo vs Australia.

  • Hear Club member and Emergency Medicine Specialist, Dr Vera Sistenich’s, story of how she became involved with beekeeping and medical training in the DRC.

  • Enjoy honey-inspired refreshments.

  • Learn how you can support these pioneering Congolese initiatives by donating your honey or a little of your time!
