The MODFAB STEM Booster robot kit and training offers an engaging and deep learning experience. With Python, participants will hand-code robot-control scripts (no-drag and drop), and learn true object-oriented programming which is used in industry applications - giving each participant an understanding of the hardware and software from the ground up.

From simple control of the general purpose input/output bus on the Raspberry Pi, participants will progress to remotely operating their robot via WiFi, and explore alternative control configurations and programming. Using the skills gained in the course, participants will be able to continue developing their robots, however, they choose using the breadboard included in the kit.

The Raspberry Pi has an online global user community that is crammed with exciting free projects and tutorials along with technical support and troubleshooting advice.
