Event description

Description

Can museums exhibit the future?

Ask your questions at a livestreamed panel discussion on projects past, present and future. A newly opened Scienceworks exhibition ‘Beyond Perception: Seeing the Unseen’ is full of immersive experiences, a generative soundscape and animated stories from Victorian scientists and engineers. A project in development will use gamification to explore the Royal Exhibition Building and connect with Melbourne’s heritage, and Museums Victoria is using interactive technology to encourage discussion about Indigenous knowledge, skills and practices. Find out about these projects and more as Museums Victoria experts explore the ways new technology can connect people and places.

Please note this event is included with museum entry: Adults $15, children and concession card holders free. Entry must be paid for at Museum entrance.

[Please note this event is wheelchair accessible]
