#MKW18 – Edible History of Technology in Food
Event Information
Description
Dinner 1 - Adventures in Food Tech
At this multi-course event, experience the history and future of food technology – from hunting and gathering, to current gastronomic trends, to futuristic preparation. Taste wild, foraged foods prepared with fire and coals, and sample innovations such as aquaponics and genetically modified produce.
Food has always been enhanced by human technology – when we first cooked with fire, when we introduced farming and fishing, when we started snapping pictures of our meals. Technology is rapidly evolving, and so is our palette for food thats delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and forward thinking. Now, embark on an edible tour of history with chef Jesse Gerner and the team from Farmwall.
[Please note this event is wheelchair accessible]
